A startup in the event planning industry approached us with a challenge: they needed a tool that could edit specific elements of an image—like removing or replacing objects—without disrupting the surrounding context. Traditional image generation models couldn’t handle this level of precision with just a single prompt.
To solve this, we combined advanced image editing models and techniques, and Pixel Edit was born.
The prototype launched with support for four core editing use cases:

Object removal: Users can select an object in an image and remove it seamlessly, with the background intelligently filled in based on the surroundings.

Object replacement: Users can upload two images, select objects from each, and replace one with the other—maintaining realism in the target image.

Color change: Users can pick specific objects in an image and adjust their colors using a simple color picker.

Object generation: By selecting an object and describing a new one in natural language, users can generate and swap in entirely new elements.
After launching the prototype, we realized its potential extended far beyond event planning. From interior design to film sets, Pixel Edit has the flexibility to serve a wide range of industries needing smart, context-aware image editing.
