While exploring ideas to present to the Y Combinator Summer 2025 Batch, we noticed a recurring theme among YC coaches: they were looking for startups building the next generation of AI voice assistants—ones that could manage daily tasks autonomously and communicate in the user’s own tone and style.
We saw an opportunity—and decided to take it one step further.
Most existing voice assistants rely heavily on the cloud, which means user data is constantly being sent to third-party servers. For individuals—and especially businesses in Europe—this poses serious privacy and security concerns.
That insight led to the creation of Ekopilot: the first AI voice assistant designed to run 100% locally on your device.
To make this possible, we built a local AI agent capable of orchestrating complex tasks directly on your phone—no internet connection or data sharing required. Everything happens securely, privately, and in your own voice.
